Dr. Courtney specializes in Active Release Techniques™ (or A.R.T™), which is a soft tissue system/movement-based massage certified technique that includes over five hundred specific moves – all of which are unique to A.R.T™.

Every A.R.T™ session is a combination of examination and treatment. Dr.Courtney uses her hands to evaluate the texture, tightness and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Abnormal tissues are treated by combining precisely, directed tension with extremely specific patient movements.
